Beneath the dripping leaves
Of our traintrack trees

o cuando el chofer del bús no quiso dejar entrar
a la ciega rubia y su perro rubio. 'tiene que llevarla
por ley' dijo el joven que le ayudó a subir.
la mujer saca un teléfono, y se lo acerca al oído
por cada número presionado. y yo imagino
pero ella escucha, una línea pálida y desmayante
vibrando en su océano invisible. no puedo verla por ley.
